Volunteer Lift Old Floorboards

Monday afternoon and the team of community volunteers at work in the Parish Hall lifting the old floorboards. Very impressive to see the skill and speed of the team who completed the task in the afternoon. Well done to all who helped.





Volunteers Start to Prepare the Hall

To start the conservation and improvement work we needed to move the Hall equipment, chairs, tables, etc., into storage. Monday morning and a great team of community volunteers turned up and worked all morning to move the equipment. Great job well done. No stopping us now.

Electrical Supply Re-routed

Today Dart Electrics and Western Power have been at the Hall and have completed the necessary work to re-route the electrical supply to its new location in the storeroom.

Preparation for Power Supply to be Moved

Steve Baber and Ron Moore worked to break through to the trench under the wall in the storeroom to enable the power supply cable to be routed into the storeroom. The floorboard in the Hall where the existing power supply is located under the floor have been lifted to allow Western Power access to withdraw the cable and re-route it.

Re-routing Electrical Supply

Western Power on site and have dug the trench external to the Hall wall to re-route the electrical supply cable from under the floor in the Hall to its new location in the storeroom.


Lime Plastering Wall in Storeroom Continues


Richard Boxall has add the final layer of lime plaster to the wall in the storeroom. When it has dried it is ready to fix the board that will located the new power supply.
