East Worlington Parish Hall Trustees held their AGM on Thursday 14th May and agreed the Trustees Annual Report for 2014 - 2015. The Report is now uploaded on the Parish Hall On-line Magazine website

Auto post to Facebook lost

We've been using RSS Grafitti to notify on Facebook when we create a new blog entry. This service was stopped on 1-May so we haven't been keeping Facebook up to date since then. Martin has looked around for an alternative and is trying out ittt.com.

Website Training

Martin provided training for Steve today on how to create pages on the website. We created a page under Stories of the Parish heading about World War 2 Evacuees in East Worlington. The training involved different ways of laying out content, adding text and uploading and inserting photographs.

EWPH – 2 PENCE CHALLENGE

Sign moved forward another 44 yards towards our 1 mile goal starting at the Parish Hall - now by Campie's field gate!  Over £90 raised in 2 pences to date.  Please save and donate your 2p coins and give to any member of the Parish Hall Committee so we will have enough 2 pences to cover a mile.

EWPH – Dwellings Survey

Looking forward to receiving completed surveys so we can start to build a picture of our villages' past history.  Information on properties both new and old would be gratefully received.

Meeting of Parish Hall Trustees

There was a meeting of Trustee this evening. It was the AGM followed by an ordinary meeting agenda. At the AGM the Trustees were appointed for the year and the post holders for the roles of Chair, Vice-chair, Honorary Treasurer, Honorary Secretary, Booking Secretary and Health and Safety Trustee were confirmed. The Trustees membership is very stable with one Trustee leaving and a new one joining the Board.

Worlington Heritage Group Meeting 11/05/15

Worlington Heritage Group (Liz, Lorna, Sandy, Gavin, Philip and Steve (apologies from Miya)) met this evening for the monthly meeting of the group. The Group will meet again in one months time on 1st June
